This was a project I worked on with the Founder and General Manager of Joss, as they looked to make the first redesign of their site. The site that was currently running since their inital launch was very outdated with many textures and lacking whitespace. We decided to go with a more modern/swiss design, but yet still create an edgy feel with the angled images. This design was tested against the initial launch design – and won!
The goal for this project was to make "Our Promise" much more clear to our customers during their shopping experience on the site than it was originally. Initially this information was not given to them until the last step in the checkout process, which gave them bad experience and potentially us losing their purchase. As the customer goes from page to page we wanted to create an "Our Promise" branding recognition so as they get closer to checking out, there is not as much need to have a detailed description next to the logo and tagline. These logos are used throughout our transaction email series, too!
Being an e-commerce flash-sale site, Joss has theme days just about every day of the week. Each theme day needs assets for image overlays, responsive homepage and in-site banners throughout all dropdowns and sliders, unique emails, web advertisements, and social posts.
